Does the operator pay per seat?
No. £199 a month covers the organisation — every vessel, every admin, manager and captain you invite.
What does it cost a captain?
A captain is a crew account that a management company has invited and assigned to a vessel. That unlocks Captain Mode alongside the captain's own crew account. Ask your management company to send the invite.
Is there a placement commission?
Never. Crewfair is paid by subscription only. No percentage of salary, no cut of daywork, no fee per hire.
What happens after the trial?
Your card is charged monthly from the end of the 7-day trial. Cancel any time and access continues to the end of the paid period.
How do referrals work?
Every crew member has a referral link. When someone who signed up through it subscribes, three months (£14.97) is credited to the referrer's account automatically.
Can I invoice clients who aren't on Crewfair?
Yes. Build the invoice, produce the PDF, and send a public invoice link by email. Payment happens the way you agree with the client; Crewfair tracks it from draft to paid.
